Blinkers (notre nature électrique)
The turn signal — with its muted ticking and intermittent light that quietly inhabits our everyday lives — modestly hides behind an abstract functionalism.
Composed of numerous turn signals arranged on the floor in a gentle semicircle within a soothing dimness, the installation Blinkers creates a natural, immersive space for listening.
The result of several years of research and enriched by a series of workshops inviting diverse audiences to take part in the prototyping and making of the work, this installation is conceived as an ecosystem-in-progress — offering these objects new possibilities for emancipation, exchange, and collective expression, as well as a space for encounter and interaction with us, human beings.
